BTEX and TEPH concentrations were not observed above the laboratory detection limits in the groundwater samples collected from wells MW-1 through MW-5 and EW-I on January 29, 2002. 5. $TEX concentrations observed in the groundwater samples collected from the site during January 2002 did not exceed the MCLs. The following recommendations are made based on information obtained during the quarterly sampling activities. 1. The quarterly monitoring program should be continued for one (1) additional sampling episode as recommended in the October 9, 2001 SCR. 2. If BTEX concentrations remain below the MCLs during the next quarterly sampling episode, a request for site closure should be submitted to the DMG. 5. GENERAL COMMENTS The analyses and opinions expressed in this report are based on data obtained from the groundwater monitoring wells installed at the indicated locations along with other information described in this report. This report does not reflect any variations in subsurface geohydrology or contaminant distribution which may occur between wells and or across the site. Actual subsurface conditions may vary and may not become evident without further exploration. Due to the dynamic nature of groundwater flow and contaminant migration, subsurface conditions will vary with time. This report was prepared for the exclusive use of Aggregate Industries for specific application to the subject property and has been prepared in accordance with generally accepted geo-environmental engineering practices. No warranties, either express or implied, are intended or made. In the event that changes in the nature or location of suspected sources of contamination as outlined in this report are observed, the conclusions and recommendations contained in this report shall not be valid unless these changes are reviewed and the opinions of this report are modified and verified in writing by Paragon.
