Annual Report <br />Currier Gravel Pit <br />M-1980-203 <br />June 29, 2007 <br />Mesa County, Colorado <br />Permitted acreage is less than 10 acres. <br />No mining or crushing activity for the report year. <br />No acres were reclaimed for the report year. <br />Crushing and mining may occur in the next report year. <br />No changes to previous map are necessary. <br />This gravel pit is, on intermittent status. Historically, grave] demand for this remote <br />location comes from Forest Service or Mesa County governments for infrequent road <br />repairs. However, oi] and gas companies are beginning to express interest in gravel for <br />their wellpads and access roads in the area. The most recent crushing activity occurred <br />during May, 2005. There is a stockpile of gravel at the site. There was loading and <br />trucking of stockpiled materials during the report year of 95 days. Oftentimes this was <br />one or two dump truck loads per day used by operator on their own private ranch roads. <br />This gravel pit was inspected on 8-22-06. All issues raised were satisfactorily abated. <br />Operator does not believe there will be more than 180 days of activity in the coming year. <br />Acreage is correctly depicted on the previously submitted map. Weed spraying did occur <br />during the report year. Pit location markers are located annually. <br />
