Permit No. M-77-526
FEDERAL TAX ID# 84-0517799
Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this
permit is March 28th, 1994 . The effective date of all information
in this report is February 25th, 1994 . Please refer to the Annual
Report Map for the location of areas discussed in this report.
This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HAS
operated more than 180 days this year. This 83 . 06 acres ± pit is
not a phased operation and the current bond is $40, 000 . 00.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report
requirements as outlined in Section 2 . 4 . 1 of the Rules and Regula-
tions, revised 11/90.
2 .4 . 1
(1) No new lands have been disturbed during the last year, we
removed materials stockpiled in previous years. The current
status of disturbance for the pit is; Lake surface - 40. 81 ac.
±; Backfilled - 5. 55 ac. ±; Unmined - 18 . 83 ac. ±; Perimeter
Roads - 3 . 40 ac. ±; Banks and setbacks - 14 . 47 ac. ±. These
figures are unchanged from last year.
(2) No reclamation was required during this time period. It
should be noted that the lake is used by water skiers and
their boat wakes tend to breakdown the underwater slopes so no
work is necessary to shape them. These slopes are 10h to lv
for the first foot and the fall to 3h to lv or less from there
down. The green lined shores have been stabilized by the wave
action and need no further underwater work. The green colored
areas around the mined area have been sloped and revegetated
and the lake shores along the north and west side are begin-
ning to have a natural invasion of willows next to the shore. 61
PQP
