FOUR CORNERS MATERIALS <br />A division of Oldcastle SW Group, Inc. <br />09 December 2003 <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />State of Colorado <br />1313 Sherman Street, Suite 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Re: Anuual Report -Permit No. M-1990-093 <br />High Flume Gravel Pit (Anniversary Date 24 October) <br />The High Flume Gravel Pit is located in La Plata County, approximately 12 miles south of <br />downtown Durango, Colorado. <br />In December 2002, a lease was signed between the property owners, Dale and Betty Trenkle <br />(permittee) and Oldcastle SW Group, Inc. dba Four Corners Materials, giving this company the <br />exclusive right to mine sand and gravel in the pit and act as representative for the Trenkles with <br />the Division of Minerals and Geology. A copy of that lease is included with this report. <br />In February 2003, reclamation bond responsibility was transferred from the Trenkles to this <br />company. <br />There has been no mining or reclamation activity within the permit area during the past year, <br />although the access road leading to the mine was regraded, improving the surface and drainage. <br />Please contact me at (970) 247-2172 with any questions or comments you may have regazding <br />this report. <br />Sincerely, <br />Marcia L.
