A Technical Revision (#2) was
filed in September 2006 to clarify the final reclamation plan and
showing the configuration we anticipated when reclamation is
complete. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation
and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The Financial
Warranty is $66,800.00, the permitted area is 14.20 ± and the pit
is not Phased. A sign that conforms Wlth rule 6.7 SIGNS AND MARKERS is
installed at the entrance to the pit.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report
requirements as outlined in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regula-
tions, and in the annual notice letter.
(1) Mining is complete.
(2) Reclamation continued on the area west of the railroad
tracks this year. We have continued to fill part of the pit
with clean fill consisting of concrete, old asphalt and dirt
(brown) as approved. Reclamation on the eastern parcel has
been successful in the green areas and the trees and grass
planted along the east line have done very well. The north
area has been armored along the spring pond and filling has
been completed on the tan area. Portions of the tan area is
being used as a concrete batch plant site, gravel/rock sales
yard, recycling area and asphalt batch plant area as dis-
cussed in the Technical Revision #2.
~~
(3) No additional land will be disturbed since mining is com-
plete.
