~~
• RECLAMATION REPORT
SILICA QUARRY, LYONS, COLORADO
PERMIT NO. 77361
1994-1995
The purpose of this report is to comply with the Mined Land Reclamation Act of
1976, Statute 34-32-112 of House Bill No. 1065. This report follows the outlined
requirements found in the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation
Board, Section 3.4, covering the "Notice of Intent to Continue" for the limited impact
operation.
The permit for the Silica Quarry located at Lyons, Colorado, was issued on
June 4, 1978. In our reclamation and mining plan submitted September 1, 1977, it was
• stated that 6.5 acres in the Northeast 1/4, Southwest 1/4, Section 20, Township 3 North,
Range 70 West of the 6th Principal Meridian had been affected. Currently, 1.72 acres are
used as a stockpile and crusher area. As of this date, the affected area is 4.6 acres. There
will be no newly affected land in 1996 as mining will take place in the area already affected.
~ c~'- ' "~
Jim Leiding
Mining Supervisor
• H:10643 0181SILICA.REC
