S. Steel), that
have been in place for several years. In 1984, two new monuments
were set by UTE ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING COMPANY adjacent to the
two existing monuments. The new monuments are referred to as D-
11-U and D-12-U. See Map for location. The new monuments are 3-
inch pipe with a 4-inch plate so the elevation will be fixed for
each reading. The coordinates of the new monuments are:
Northing Easting Elevation
D-11-U 405,065.78 1,440,549.57 6185.92
D-12-U 405,418.32 1,441,625.51 6195.50
These coordinates and elevations will remain fixed and all other
points will be relative to them.
We have developed a sequence for the surveys that divides the
stations into primatry control loops, and points tied by sideshot
(triangulation) only. We have changed the sequence used in prior
years far the main subsidence loop so that all stations are in-
cluded in one traverse without the need for secondary control
• loops. All stations are 3" diameter steel pipe described in our
report dated August 10, 1985 unless noted otherwise.
