Only if roof fall is determined to have <br />occurred within underground workings would GMCC perform surface surveys. I do <br />not believe this proposal would be adequate at this point in time. In order <br />to resolve the question of whether the survey inaccuracies are acceptable <br />variance or actual monument movement, I recommend that we require GMCC <br />complete at least two more quarterly subsidence monitoring surveys. Upon <br />submission of the next semi-annual subsidence monitoring report, we can <br />reconsider their request, if they have resolved the question of survey <br />inaccuracies versus subsidence occurrence. <br />cc: Tom Gillis <br />/ph <br />Doc.
