<br />1999 ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE CHAMBERS PIT PERMIT NO. M-80-136 <br />During the reporting period for this operation, an area of approximately 10 acres in the <br />south-central portion of the permit area was mined-out and is currently being used to <br />store pit-run material that is being processed when necessary. These locations are <br />shown on the annual report map accompanying this report. <br />A new area was opened-up in the northeast area of the permit and actively mined during <br />the reporting period. The material was transported to the south-central area for <br />processing. This area is being mined to satisfy Eagle County requirements and will be <br />reclaimed during the 1999-2000 reporting period. <br />Another new area on the westernmost portion of the permit was opened-up for mining <br />and approximately 5 acres were mined and will be reclaimed in the 1999-2000 reporting <br />period. Approximately 5 acres in this area are being actively mined and will continue to <br />be mined during the next reporting period. <br />No reclamation was performed during the reporting period. <br />Approximately 48 acres exist in a state of disturbance: either in active mining, as <br />operations areas, or not yet reclaimed. Approximately 17 acres have been reclaimed <br />with topsoiling and seeding. Topsoil is stored in a large grass-seeded berm on the north <br />edge of the active portion of this permit. <br />
