I believe <br />Steve's remrmendation for placsnent of a well in the area of Pit No. 2 is <br />premature at this time. I suspect as Pit No. 2 is backfilled we will see <br />fluctuations in the Series 1 wells. If this is the case, Series 1 wells <br />will be monitoring the "spoil aquifer". 'i9ierefore, I request we maintain a <br />wait and see position for a period until after the backfilling and grading <br />is oarg~leted. After the stabilization period, it would be time to assess <br />whether an additional we11 would provide WFC and the State with any <br />meaningful data. <br />Sily, () <br />David M.
