4. OVERBURDEN SAMPLING -REGRADED AREAS <br />• Requirement <br />As outlined in the CDMG Pemut Application Exhibit 6, Geological Information, Item #4, <br />Overburden Sample Program of the Colowyo Permit, a regraded overburden sampling program is <br />required at a density of one sample per five acres of regraded azea. <br />Response <br />Colowyo continues to utilize the "State Plane Coordinate System" as the map grid system for <br />sampling regraded overburden azeas. Refer to Exhibit 9, 2000 Annual Report Map, for the location <br />of the sampled areas. Utilization of the intersecting lines provides a uniform square grid system of <br />approximately five acres per square. During 2000 a total of 7 regraded azea samples were obtained <br />representing approximately 35 acres of additional regraded overburden azea. T'he analyses aze <br />provided in Exhibit 8 -Regraded Overburden Sampling. <br />No suspect materials were encountered during the sampling program. <br />-_.J <br />]0 <br />
