We plan to make material from
the Una Pit available to our contractors for this work.
The Division plans to let the grading contracts on this section in the fall
of 1981 and to let the paving contract for the entire section in the fall
of 1982.
We would like to be informed of any operations you plan in the pit so that
we can keep our plans up to date and avoid any conflict in the operation
of the pit and use of the haul roads. The approximate area to be excavated
for our work will be 25 acres and we will need at least 10 acres for a
plant and stockpile site.
If our contractor elects to use the Una Pit, the Division of Highways will
want to renew the option we have on the pit according to additional condition
No. 18.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any help, please let me know.
Very truly yours,
RGL/clc R.A.
