-z-
The operator also Included a subsidence monitoring report which consists
primarily of monitoring station survey data which reflect little or no surface
evidence of subsidence during 1983. Visual inspection reports indicated
sealing of previous subsidence fractures 1n the west areas. No further
visible signs were noted to 1983. The report also includes the survey data of
recently instal]ed panels which as of yet have not been undermined.
In general, both the text and data compilation are well presented. The
operator also summarizes impacts and makes conclusions in projecting future
Impacts which are not expected to change 1n 1984. In review of the data
submitted, I generally concur with the operator's conciuslons. However, for
future Annual Hydrology reports, I make the following suggestions:
1. Submit an up-to-date map of all sample locations and identification
2. Report all flow data in flowrates
3. Report all water levels from ground level (i.e. subtract casing up
out of ground)
4. Request a reduction in the list of parameters - in particular, some
of the metals which are in very low concentrations
If you have any questions or comments or are concerned over some particular
item to be addressed to the report, please contact me.
/cd
Dot. 0368E
