The surface drainage facilities
were adequately maintained and were working properly. No subdrain
system is required by our permit, since oeotechnical investigation
for the disposal site revealed no ground water present. Permanent
out slopes are being constructed on the toe of sub-area 1 and sub-
area 2-3 has been started. These out slopes are stable. A
groundwater monitoring well has been installed between sub-area 1
and sub area 2-3. To date no water has accumulated in the well.
We have now, to date, a total of 631,063 tons of refuse placed in
sub-area 1, and 1,000,819 tons placed in sub-area 2-3.
Both the topsoil and subsoil piles for those areas have been seeded
and are stable. Removal and stock piling of all organic material
and topsoil prior to disposal of refuse has been completed.
Deerado M1Lne
P.0. fiox 1067
kangely, Colorado 81648
Telephone 303/675-8431
Teiempier 303/675-5:?9
