The Canadian thistle continues to plague the site in a couple of isolated areas. <br /> It is expected that elimination of the thistle in these areas will be difficult to <br /> achieve. Homestake has sprayed the problem areas in 2001 but the success is <br /> limited. <br /> 2. Homestake continues to work on the planning and design relative to the 9360/ <br /> 9700 waste rock drainage by-pass and related coordination of permit approval <br /> with the U.S. Forest Service and Colorado DMG. <br /> 3. Monitoring of the 9360 adit plug and associated tracer testing continued <br /> through the reporting period with no identified issues or concerns.
