Associated annual fees were previous]y
mailed to the Division.
The diversion dam borrow area has been innundated with water,
pursuant to the MLRB permit, accomplished by the filling of Windy Gap
Reservoir this spring. Because of the on-going maintenance
requirements of the Windy Gap Project, the District desires to leave
open working areas within the riprap quarry (81-85) and pervious
aggregate borrow area "C" (81-86). The District requests that a
crusher, approved as a technical revision on October 28, 1982 by the
MLRB, be allowed to remain and operate within the designated boundary
of borrow area "C". In addition, the District requests permission to
stockpile and access aggregate and riprap stored on-site at borrow
area "C" and the riprap quarry.
Please advise us what additional action, if any, should be taken
on our part to formalize the foregoing request on behalf of the
Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. Your assistance in this
matter is very much appreciated.
Very truly yours,
~~ ~iL~1
Rich Drew
Water Resources Engineer
RD:mj
