Long
Division D~recwr
The Division is in receipt of West Elk's Annual Reclamation Report
for 1992. The report has been reviewed and sufficiently addresses
the required issues.
The Division would like to clarify that Rule 2.04.13 requires "each
oermittee" to submit an annual reclamation report. Although, the
timing is different, underground mines experience backfilling,
grading, topsoiling, and reseeding similar to surface mines. This
type of information should be submitted on an annual basis, if only
to say none of these activities were accomplished during the year.
Please continue to submit annual reclamation reports by February 15
of each year.
Thank you for your timely submittal of this report.
Sir~yc~rely,
Christine E
Reclamation
alist
007.ARRRES
