Dept. of Natural Resources <br />December 14, 1984 <br />Mr. Jim Herron <br />Reclamation Specialist <br />Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80293 <br />RE: Coal Ridge No. 1, File No. C-84-065 <br />Dear Mr. Herron: <br />This letter provides responses to the ite.n.~s discussed in your <br />letter of December 7, 1984. <br />Vegetation ?nforrlation - F.ule 2.©4.10 <br />cover data presented in the application was adecuate; 2) an <br />additional table (attached and included in the application on <br />page 3-134) outlining cover-by-species will be submitted .to <br />outline the species diversity for the site; 3) woody plant <br />density data for 1982 and 1983 will be combined and a <br />table (attached and included in the application on page 3-140a) <br />exhibiting the statistical parameters of this data will be <br />generated and submitted; and 4) the production data <br />obtained by the double-sampling method will be re-evaluated by <br />the Division because the principles of the method were further <br />explained and the Division had previously agreed to the use of <br />1.
