water level was observed in well 91M005 relative to well 006-82-48A. No significant water quality
~~ influences are noted to be evident in data obtained during 1994. Localized dewatering of the Trout Creek
Sandstone appears evident in the vicinity of well 001-83-106 although levels have stabilized. A declining
water level trend was again noted to be appazent at well 001-83-107. Well completion efforts at FCM q2
were completed during 1994. The water level returned by this site during 1994 is noted to be markedly
lower than levels previously returned from well 006-83j18C. No readily apparent water quality impacts
associated with mining are noted for the Trout Creek Sandstone aquifer based upon data collected during
1994 although relatively high alkalinity and pH values were obtained from well FCM #2.
No unusual observations are noted with respect to Foidel Creek alluvium groundwater levels. Well001-5-5
exhibited instances of increased field conductivity values higher than those previously recorded. Anew
maximum TDS concentration was also documented during 1944 at well 001-5-5, Elevated TDS
concentrations were also documented at well Foidel Creek alluvium well 008-AV-2. TCC will continue to
carefully monitor these apparent trends.
A continuing increase in the water level exhibited at Fish Creek alluvium well 006-AY-1 was noted to be
evident during 1994. No other notable water level observations are apparent based upon review of the 1994
data. No notable water quality impacts are evident.
~ Monitoring was initiated at Trout Creek alluvial well 008-AT-1 during 1994. No unusual observations are
noted with water quality observed to be comparable to alluvial wells upstream of the site.
Recorded surface water flows for Foidel Creek, Fish Creek, and Trout Creek were relatively low as
compared to recent years data. Field conductivity values from 1994 are noted to exhibit a general increase
at surface water site 800 on Foidel Creek. No other notable water quality impacts aze evident at any surface
water sites monitored during 1994.
Recorded 1994 spoil spring discharges were negligible and, therefore, did not constitute a significant portion
of discharge from the TCC mine area with the potential to impact off-site areas. Discharges from
sedimentation ponds occurred in conformance with applicable NPDES permit limitations and therefore did
not constitute significant impacts to receiving waters. Mine water discharge sites 109 and 115 produced less
water than in years past and 115 discharged iu conformance with applicable NPDES permit limitations. No
unusual occurrences of inflow were noted as a result of the Annual Mine Inflow study.
LJ
-12-
