The
survey was conducted on October 8 & 9, 1996. The attached
diagram shows the installed location (red circle) and the
location shown of Exhibit 56 (Black Circle). The original
locations had no specific significance and were primarily moved
to allow observation from one central point as designed.
Although mining had taken place close to SM02 prior to
installation, we do not believe any subsidence related to mining
had occurred. That area of the mine was still accessible a week
before the survey and with no evidence of caving which could
cause subsidence. The following is a list of coordinates and
elevations of the points;
Base - 1,021,131.82'N 104,358.55'E 5164. 00'
SMOl - 1,022,251.71'N 107,868.15'E 4868 .81'
SMOl - 1,021,954.58'N 105,246.28'E 4898 .44'
SMOl - 1,023,150.24'N 101,689.75'E 4.970 .17'
SMOl - 1,020,533.47'N 103,268.01'E 4985 .44'
SMOS - 1,018,495.90'N 100,993.03'E 5120 .97'
Please let me know if you have ary further questions.
Sincerely,
i ~.
r _ ~
~/
Larr Reschke
En neer
LMR:lmr
Enclosure
