~- ~ a
Rill and Gully Inspection
A rill and gully inspection was conducted at the Bourg
property on September 27, 1992. At that time it was
noted that the sediment control system has worked as
designed. All terraces appeared to be in good condition.
No new reportable rills or gullies were found. Flatiron
Companies continues to monitor two previously reported
rills, 1990, both of which have been stablized.
The settlement crack located at the bottom of the slope
at the north end of the property has been filled with
topsoil. Flatiron Companies will continue to monitor
that crack.
Vegetation Survey
The vegetation survey was conducted by Warren Keammerer,
Ph.d. on July 30, 1992. The results of that survey are
attached as Appendix A. It is Flatiron Companies'
assessment that the revegetation effort is progressing
extraordinarily well.
Hydrologic Survey
Well depths were measured and water samples were
collected on May 13 and September 27, 1992.- The results
of those samples are attached (Append' B). There is no
indication that the reclamation acti ities t the Bourg
Mine have had any adverse impact on he h rology of the
area.
~~~,,~ .
(2) The additional monitoring portion of this report consists of
three separate sections; a discussion of the results of an
annual rill and gully inspection, an evaluation of
revegetation success, and a report on the hydrologic status of
the Bourg Mine which underwent final reclamation during the
Fall of 1988.
2
