Realignment of the haul <br /> road into the mining plateau was completed and reclamation re-sloping of the old road <br /> area is in progress. <br /> Reclamation efforts continued in the old mine area during the year with back <br /> filling and re-grading of highwalls mined prior to 1990. <br /> The portion of Eagle County Road #51 which serves as a haul road was treated <br /> with a lignosite dust suppressant as per BLM Plan of Operations #CO-078-0-3P. Road <br /> base material was replaced on worn areas of the road at that time. The project of <br /> widening and raising the section of mine haul road intersecting the county road was <br /> completed. <br /> Approximately 586,000 tons of gypsum rock were shipped from the mine during <br /> 2000. <br /> 3 <br />
