<br />EXHIBIT "K" <br />CLIMATE <br />SPRING CREEK PASS <br /> <br />The pit is located about 6 miles south of Spring Creek Pass and just west of Highway 149 <br />at elevation 10,150 + or -. It lies on the edge of a large meadow. <br />The prevailing winds are from the northwest or southwest. Summer daytime winds are <br />most likely from the southeast. <br />The average annual precipitation is about 22".
