The overall flow regime in <br />this aquifer is close to that observed in 1985 (see Hydro-Engineering, <br />1986). <br />The Third White Sandstone aquifer piezometric levels are <br />presented on Map No. 2-3. Wells GB2, GC2, GBB1 and P8 were used in <br />the construction of this water-level elevation map. Flow direction in <br />the Third White Sandstone is mainly toward the north, as expected. <br />Natural variations in recharge to this aquifer are thought to have <br />caused more changes in the piezometric map of the Third White <br />Sandstone than mining. <br />2-8 <br />
