Mr. B. Humphries
10/25/06
expected that elimination of the thistle in these areas will be difficult, if not
likely impossible, to achieve. Site inspection and herbicide spray control of
identified thistle areas will continue when identified and deemed necessary.
4. Other stormwater surface drainage features in the project site were inspected
during 2006; some minor areas were identified that require some equipment
maintenance. These activities will be scheduled along with other activities
that require use of equipment at the site. As of this report time, it is
anticipated that some some minor silt removal with equipment will be
commenced in late October, 2006 to address observed ditch siltation on the
East diversion ditch for the lower tailings site. Other very minor ditch and
road repairs will also be completed in the vicinity of the lower tailings site.
_ _ ____ .5.-Dliringxhe~fieldwork.described-in-# 4-above,-some-minor-drainage control- - - -
work is planned in October 2006 for a small area on top of the 9360 waste
rock disposal site to address an area of localized and short duration water
ponding (less than 1/10 of an acre) that occurs during the Spring meltoff
season.
6. Based upon the very low level of physical reclamation activity during 2006, an
update map is not being filed with this report.
END OF REPORT
P.O.
