Montgomery Pit, MLR No. M-86- 104 Tax I.D.# 84-0601382 Dear Barbara: Enclosed is the Annual Report for the past year for Montgomery Pit, including map and report form. Past records show that the annual date for the pit is May 24 of each year. The financial warranty for the permit is $20,500 and the total permit area is 46.08 acres. The mining and reclamation plan has three phases. The following information is provided to comply with Rule 2.4.1: (1) No acres of new disturbance occurred in the past year and mining continued in the south central part of the permit area as shown on the enclosed annual report map. Much of this area has now been mined out. (2) Approximately 0.3 acres along the drainage that bisects the property was reclaimed in the past year. The area was seeded with a dry land pasture mix and a wood fiber mulch at the rate of 1.5 tons per acre during April of 1999. Vegetation is starting to sprout from this effort. (3) For the upcoming year, mining will continue on the partially mined area on the western side of the property and will continue extending to the east in Phase 3, as shown on the map.
