,,

toring the condition of the piping, particularly when there are
storm events or during periods such as Spring runoff. A twice
a year inspection can be scheduled but won't mean nearly as much
as noting effectiveness during times the system is stressed such
as is discussed above.
The effectiveness of water bars and culverts on access roads
should be noted as well as that for runon diversions.
Making sure garbage and trash containers are used and covered
when located outdoors will be necessary.
Fuel and lubricant storage and transmission will need to be
monitored as will modes of protecting against spill contamination
when servicing both mobile and fixed location machinery
RECORDKEEPING AND INTERNAL REPORTING PROCEDURES
Shift reports are kept on workdays when operations are in
progress. It would be easy to incorporate a standard section
into such reports which would cover inspection results on the
runoff control systems, water bars and culverts, fuel spills,
etc.
CONSISTENCY WITH OTHER PLANS
The only other plan currently in place or to be put in place
shortly is the one administered by the Division of Minerals and
Geology and the two will be consistent.
ALLOWABLE NON-STORMWATER DISCHARGES
There will be no irrigation return flow or natural spring
commingling with stormwater discharge . The routing of Spring
runoff and its segregation from stormwater runoff has already
been discussed.
IMPLEMENTATION
This operation is currently in a suspended status. This
plan will be implemented when it is again put into operation.
(7.)
