Agg. Quarry
To whom it may concern:
Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit is Fet~ruary 15,
1989. The annual report and map (photo) will be for the period Fet~ruary 15,
1988, to February 12, 1989, or one year.
We will deal specifically with each of the annual report questions, as outlined
in Section 2.41 of the rules and regulations.
2.41
(1) No new lands have been affected. Mining has continued on lands
described in the previous annual reports +/- 100 acres.
(2) No lands have undergone complete reclamation.
(3) Extraction of rock over the previous year has again allowed us to
slope an additional 40 feet of final highwall. This 40 feet
coupled with the 80 completed the previous year give us a total of
approximately 120 feet sloped. The upper 80 feet were seeded in
the spring of 1988 and the lower 40 feet were seeded in the fall
of 1988. Also, there was some sloping and seeding in the spring
of 1988 just south of our plant area.
(4) Last year (April 88), as 1n previous years, we planted some +/-
1,000 bare-root stock, trees, and shrubs on various int•~rim
embankments around the plant site as well as the small section of
the final highwall. The specific species and numbers planted are
as follows:
300 - Caragana
50 - Narrow-leaf Cottonwood
200 - Russian Olive
100 - Ponderosa Pines
100 - Rocky Mountain Junipers
150 - Lilac
50 - Native Plum
100 - Sumac
`~~
~.
"Ml?M and Safety/A Great Mix"
