~. - <br />0 WILLIAMS FORK COMP9NY <br />October 2l, 1993 <br />Mr. Cazl Mount <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />..~ .~'~ ioy.y <br />Dear Mr. Mount: <br />RE: Annual Sand and Gravel 112 Report for 1992-93, and Notice of Intent to Continue Mining <br />Operations (Permit No. M-84-168) <br />Enclosed please find the Williams Fork Company 1992-93 Sand and Gravel Operations report, map and annual <br />fee payment ($550). We intend to continue mining operations into 1994. The enclosed map illustrates the sur- <br />veyed disturbance acreage which has been actively mined (17.1 acres) and total disturbance (25.9 acres). The <br />8.8 acres of additional associated disturbance includes topsoil stripping for dismrbance buffer, topsoil stockpile <br />areas and vehicle traffic areas. The map also shows storm water control ditches which were associated with <br />Technical Revision OS to the above-referenced permit. <br />No additional acres have been permanently reclaimed during the 1992-93 report period. Topsoil salvaged ahead <br />of pit advance was placed into existing topsoil stockpiles. The topsoil stockpiles will be graded and seeded in <br />November, 1993 to a temporary seed mixture similaz to the miz presented in Table E-3 of Permit No. M-84- <br />168. <br />During the past report period (October 16, 1992 through October 15, 1993) 4.9 new acres were mined and 3.0 <br />acres were newly disturbed. The projection for the 1993-94 report period is for approximately 3.0 acres of new <br />mining disturbance in Mine Area k3. <br />Additional information wnceming planned disturbance by azea and the projected dates of development aze given <br />in Permit M-84-168 Table D-1.
