King Solomon - Dolores Bench Annual Report <br /> Reclamation construction occurred at the King Solomon mine in 1998 and was completed <br /> in early 1999 except for the treatment of petroleum contaminated soils (PCs) at the site. <br /> PCs were excavated south of the spoils in the area of the mine shop, and they are <br /> presently being treated in the same area. Umetco is also monitoring vegetation at the site. <br /> Refer to the map titled King Solomon Mine Spoil Pile Reclamation Plan, Plan View for <br /> reclamation construction details. Some minor field changes occurred. <br /> Reclamation construction occurred at the Cliff Dweller mine during 1998, and was <br /> completed in early 1999. Umetco is presently monitoring vegetation at the site. Refer to <br /> the map Cliff Dweller Mine Spoil Pile Reclamation Plan, Plan View for reclamation <br /> construction details. Some minor field changes occurred. <br /> Umetco capped the Golden Cycle shaft with concrete in 1999 due to continued settling. <br /> There are no new disturbances expected during the upcoming year, and no reclamation is <br /> expected to be performed, with the exception of the treatment of PCs. Umetco will <br /> continue to monitor the sites for stabilization and vegetative growth in anticipation of <br /> permit termination. <br /> w1h 99-109 doc <br />
