Bischoff, Minerals Supervisor
Mined Land Reclamation Division
423 Centennial Building
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Mr. Bischoff:
~,
~~,~ea_ 9..r,...u ,.. .._
i..~;c. . c; ._.._..........__... '~~
Herewith is the annual report and permit fee for Cotter Corporation's
C-JD-B Mine (File M-84-014).
Mine development began at this property in April, 1986. C tter
utilized an existing portal and dump area so very little of the permitted
acreage has been disturbed. Cotter is in the process of enlarg ng this
adit to accommodate large rubber-tired equipment. Upon complet on of this
adit enlargement (approximately one month), Cotter may elect to suspend
mine development pending a more favorable uranium market.
Permit maps, Exhibit C and C-1 are enclosed for your refer nce.
The area shown in Exhibit C is the area of main activity. The ompressor
building and electrical sub-station are in place and the existi g dump
has increased slightly. Cotter is still using the pre-existing road to
the portal area; therefore, the permitted access road has not b en con-
structed. On Map C-1, none of the permitted acreage has been d sturbed
nor is any significant disturbance planned in the near future.
If you have any questions, please contact me at our Nucla ~ffice.
Sincerely,
W.'
