At present and durin~l 1980 <br />and 1981, no surface activity took place at either site. The mining of <br />uranium ore is still active at 77-284, but 78-269 was closed due 'to the <br />economic slow down. No further surface disturbance took place then was <br />proposed in the original permit at either site. It is anticipated that <br />78-269 will remain closed for 1982, but 77-284 will remain active with <br />no anticipated surface disturbance. No reclamation work was performed <br />at either site during 1979, 1980 or 1981. <br />You will find enclosed check no. 722 for b300.00 to cover 78-•269 <br />annual fees for 1980, 1981 and 1982, and to cover the annual fees for <br />77-284 for 1979, 1980 and 1981.
