Comments from the Division were contained in
the Midterm Review Findings Document. In that document, the
Division stated:
At this time, any irregularities in water quality appear to be
sporadic. There do not appear to be any trends showing out-of-
compliance water, as regards to NPDES standards and material
damage standards.
The AHR review shows that the permitted water quality and
quantity monitoring program is being followed. Also, the
probable hydrologic consequences assertion that the stream
water has been, pre-mining and present day, marginally good
for livestock, and not acceptable for irrigation, appears to
be correct. It also appears to be correct that the groundwater
has been, pre-mining and present day, unacceptable for
irrigation or livestock.
The Division had no specific questions concerning the report.
The following is a summary of the Division's analysis of the
report:
1.
