No.: Primary Refuse Disposal Area <br />Inspection Period: Fourth Quarter 2004 <br />Inspection Date: <br />General Description or Reference to Site Plan: <br />Raton Creek Mine is in final reclamation. All required structures have been removed, <br />the area brought to final grade, mulched and seeded. <br />Activity During Inspection (Including General Observations): <br />Area was inactive thoughout the quarter. Vegetation was dormant at the time ofinspection <br />as would be expected for early winter conditions. <br />Drainage: (Discussion of springs. seeps, overland and channel flow, underdrain construction <br />and/or discharge, integrity of 100-yr 24-hr drainage structures, and evidence of positive drainage). <br />No springs or seeps were observed on the refuse side slopes. Positive drainage is established <br />on all areas. Vegetation has been established on reclaimed areas with some rilling on more <br />sparsely vegetated areas. Drainage and diversion structures were operational. <br />MM <br />Underdrain construction has been completed. <br />Observation of Fill Construction: (Description of material, compaction, lift thicknesses, <br />slopes, and construction methods). <br />Structure has been completed to final grade.
