<br /> <br />• compared to previous monitoring data indicate only minor changes in <br />water quality parameters. <br />I <br />Well levels for all monitoring wells are summarized on Table <br />9, with corresponding well completion data shown on Table 8. These' <br />'water level data are presented graphically for the five monitor <br />wells on Figures 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. A review of historic water' <br />level data indicates fluctuating water levels and an overall <br />decrease since the initial monitoring. Most evident is the dramatic, <br />drop in water level at MW-8 following the 4th quarter of 1992; a' <br />result of retreat mining in close proximity to the well. Changing <br />levels in the remaining wells is probably due to drainage towards <br />the mine workings and responses to precipitation trends. <br />The approved ground water monitoring program adequately <br />monitors potential impacts of mining on the ground water system. <br />The data collected through the period of this report indicate that <br />no significant impacts have occurred as a result of mining. <br /> <br />
