These tests were taken on the folla+~ing dates:
P'larth 31, 1988; P;ay 10, 1988; September 14, 1988; and December 11, 1988. Tne
• Nay 10, 1988 field test was taker. in the presence o` Cathy 5egej and Tim Fzng
with CMLRD. Copies of the results of these tests are enclosed for your
information.
In addition to the field tests, mttle samoles were taken from both
wells on I~cerwer 13, 1988. These sanm_les were sutmitted to ACv, Inc.,
Commercial Lab Division for analysis. Copies of the results of these ara.ly-
ses are enclosed with ;his report.
On July 13, 1967, we received a letter from CI,i..°S, doted July 8, 1987.
In t~.is letter, Bear wzs irs*~-ucted to "investigate the integrity and
viability of well _=.-1". In order to com~nly with this request we took tko
bottle samples from each well and sub-nitted them to ACZ, Inc., for analysis;
and recuested their recacnpndations c.~onoerning well A~-1. On ^:a_cn 8, 1988,
ACZ recacmended that we obtain a different well baiiinq me.:nanism and m~~fv
oar sarroling procedures so that the results of our sar~ling would rrore ac-
curately reflect the quality of the wzter in the alluvium.
This was done, and the Nay 1E, 1988 sanmlino was the first in which we
utilized our new ea_uiurert and procedures. fs can b° seer. fr¢n ;he results
of this sample and ones taken subsewent to it, our effort=_ 'nave been
successful in that the conductivity levels in the samoles taken from AA-1
have stabilized. Based upon this information, we do not believe that it will
be necessar}~ to replace :his well.
•
