Permit <br />No. 83-33, Annual Report <br />~~~~ <br />RFC ~ UN ,3'g~9 <br /><q~~ F0~ ~~ /s <br />~~~ <br />Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit is <br />June 23. Operation continued as approved in the July, 1985 Amendment. <br />This is a quarry operation, as a result we remove large amounts of <br />material without disturbing large areas of land. Please refer to <br />the Annual Report map for the locations of areas discussed in this <br />report. <br />We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report <br />questions as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and Regulations. <br />2.41 <br />(1) No new land was disturbed this year mining continued in the <br />area previously stripped. we currently have 4.70 acres ± <br />stripped (brown). The face of the mine did not increase this <br />year as we continued in the area exposed last year (yellow). <br />Total disturbance to date in Stage 1 is 10.77 acres ±. <br />Stages X and Y are still in use; with backfilling in Stage X <br />still continuing. <br />(2) No reclamation was required during this time period. However <br />we started removing equipment stored in Stage Y and grading <br />around the buildings. Minor amounts of backfill were placed <br />in the valley on the eastern side of Stage 1 as approved (blue). <br />(3) Mining will continue into the area previously stripped (brown). <br />Depending on the demand for material, additional stripping may <br />
