This mine currently produces two materi- <br />als, brick clay & sand and gravel each are mined by different <br />operators. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation <br />and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The approved <br />bond amount is $27,000 covering 75.74 acres ±, and the facility <br />has seven mining and reclamation phases. However, the current <br />bond amount in the Divisions possession is $40,000. Please refer <br />to the Annual Report Map attached for the areas discussed in this <br />text. <br />We will deal specifically with the Annual Report require- <br />ments as outlined in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations and <br />those noted in the annual letter. <br />(1) Clay - No new area was disturbed by the clay mining opera- <br />tion this year. We continued to mine deeper on the land <br />previously disturbed (yellow), including the area stripped <br />of gravel (dark blue). Approximately 21.37 acres is dis- <br />turbed by the clay operation in Stages O, I and II. This <br />included the old clay mined area (aqua) on the south and the <br />Clay Plant site (pink).
