The cross-reference table between sample identification
numbers and sample locations is attached. As specified in TR-006,
calculated free and wad cyanide values for the process point
samples are enclosed.
No deviations from the sampling QA/QC protocols, TR-006, were
noted for any of the samples collected. Wells M-9, M-12, M-13, M-
13R, and M-14 and surface water station RS-5 were sampled.
Duplicates were collected at M-12 and M-9 for quality cantrol.
Field blanks and rinse blanks were conducted as part of the field
quality assurance program. The five process points were sampled.
Wells M-2, M-6, M-7, and M-8 and the three lysimeter pairs were
checked and found to be dry.
Please note analyses for two of the post detox samples,
950216BMG04 and 950306BMG05. Both the copper values and the
cyanide values are unusually high. Reviewing the operators
reports for the time period before and after February 16, nothing
unusual was detected and all on-site analysis showed cyauiide
levels were normal. For 950306BMG05, sulfur dioxide had to be
shut down for a few hours in order to fix a bad valve. Each
instance was for less than a couple hours. Thus, the cyanide
A SUBSIDId RY OF BATTLE MOUATA/N f,OLD COMPANY
P.O. BOX 310 SAN LUIS. COLORADO 8115:11310 (719) 672-336? FAX (719) 673-7363
