No eagle <br />nesting activity uas observed during the 1994 nesting season. Deer and elk mortality data <br />for the mine enta nce road, tie-across haul road, and Routt County Road 53 are presented in <br />Table 94.3. TWO deer deaths occurred on the mine entrance road and tie-across haul road <br />from 1990 through 1994. Twenty-eight deer and two elk have been killed along Routt County <br />Road 53 during the same period. This county road is not part of the Seneca II•N Mine <br />pe rmii. Big game aerial survey data collected during 1994 at Seneca II and Seneca II •W <br />Mines is presented in Appendices B and C.
