The water <br />samples were analyzed for cyanide, total metals, and fluoride as outlined in paragraph 26 <br />of Battle Mountain's Water Decree, Case No. 89CW32. The concentrations of all <br />constituents are below the Colorado Drinking Water Standards. <br />The three pairs of lysimeters located west of the tailings disposal area were checked in <br />January. All lysimeters have been dry. <br />The next sampling event will take place in July 1997.
