L«nneaa
E~ecmive Director
Michael B Lonp
Die i~ian Due<lor
Our staff has reviewed the above referenced AHR, and we have the
following requests:
1) Page 2, second paragraph indicates that the 0.000's shown on
data pages indicate times when the flow was below the minimum
recording level of the recorder (surface flow). Please amend the
text to specify the minimum recording level of the recorder.
2) Page 4, paragraph 3 indicates that certain wells showed an
increase in water level of 3 to 9. Please amend the text to
specify the referenced units of measurement.
3) Page 4, paragraph 3 indicates that the small size of the
piezometers make some of the water levels difficult to measure;
therefore, some of the water level data are not available. Since
measurement of water levels is the purpose of the piezometers, the
problematic piezometers should be identified and replaced with
piezometers of sufficient diameter.
4) AHR narrative should be amended to explain why water levels
were not reported for UTL wells for the quarters beginning October,
1994, and January, 1995, and why flow data was not reported for
June and July, 1995, for Surface Water Sta. SWGS-03.
Please respond to these issues at your earliest convenience. Feel
free to ca me if you have any questions.
Sincere
V ;~ Z,
Dan T.
