Ponds 001, 007, and 008 discharged during the monitoring period, and all water quality monitoring criteria were within permit standards. As per the attached letter from CDPHE, outfalLs 001 through 006 were eliminated our NPDES permit, and so monitoring for these sites ceased on i Feb 2002. WET Testing • The quarterly WET test of Pond 007 passed. As you will recall, Pond 008 failed the ceriodaphnia portion of the 4'" quarter 2001 WET test. The sample for that test was collected on 26 Dec. The 1" accelerated ceriodaphnia test, conducted with a sample collected on 2 Jan 02, failed as well. Inter that same day, WFC elected to stop discharging kom Pond 008 and transfer the eRluent to ouffa11007. Fathead minnow testing did not occur during the accelerated test and the discharge was transferred before a sample could be taken for the full quarterly WET test. NPDES 001 required an annual WET test. I did not take one during January 2002 prior to cessation of monitoring. However, the ouffal] still discharges and if a W ET testis still required, please let me know and I will pull a sample for testing. I spoke with Tanya Watson concerning the conditions concerning the NPDES 001 and 008 WET tests and she suggested that I detail them in this letter and follow them up with a phone call [o you when you return [o work.
