Long,
Division Director
Re: Review, Annual Hydrologic Report, 1991 Water Year, Permit No. C-82-056
Dear Mr. Middleton:
The Division has completed its review of the above-referenced Annual
Hydrologic Report (AHR) for the Foidel Creek Mine. Please respond to each
question or comment by August 30, 1992.
GENERAL COMMENTS AND ERRORS/OMISSIONS
Some of the Division's questions are identical to the Eckman Park or Mine 3
AHR questions. For the benefit of the historical record, please respond
accordingly to each question.
1. Elevation information is incorrect either on the map, in Table 1, or in
the elevation table for each site for the following locations: 008-AU-3,
001-5-5, 006-BRDH7, 006-82-74C, 109, 1001, 1002, 27A, 1003, 302, 305, 8.
Please correct all elevation infcrmation to be accurate and consistent.
2. Table 1 needs eievation information for Discharge and Pond Sites.
3. Site 14 is not represented in Table 1 nor is any data included for the
site.
4. Site 115, FCT 89-1, FCT 87-1, 303-2, 303-2, and 303-3 are not shown on
the map. All monitored sites are required to be properly spotted on the
map.
5. Spring 20-14 is improperly labeled on the map as a bedrock well.
6. Site 1001 should be removed from the ta'ole and a note added to Site 16
explaining that it replaced 1001 in 1989.
7. Frequency notations are off by one column in Table 1 for 006-AY-1,
009-79-4.
8. 008-82-48 is listed in Table 1, but no data was Submitted for the well.
A check of the permit indicates the well was not required to be
monitored. Please remove it from Table 1.
