The September Morn Mine has been reclaimed. Umetco plans to revegetate [he site in
2002 due to recent draught conditions. The existing DMG bond should be sufficient to
revegetate the site. The Rim Rock #5 Mine has been reclaimed and the DMG is
processing [he release.
The DMG has released the Mexico Mine with the exception of a small area that is
infested with knapweed. The area was recently sprayed, and permit release is expected in
2002.
Umetco no longer controls the Rimrock Blues Mine. The associated DMG and WQCD
pemu[s were transferred to Grand Mesa Mining Company in 1995.
If you have any questions, or need more information, please call.
Sincerely,
(~
Tony Bates, P.E.
Mines Reclamation Manager
ASB:ses
c: Loren Wickstrom, BI.M
W. Erickson, DMG
oi-na.ao~
