I am co-trustee of the
Trust along with my two sisters, Jean Collins Norris (Chatham, Massachusetts) and Lois
Morehead (Chico, California). Out mother, Kathryn O. Collins, passed away January 10,
2004.
While there are on-going discussions in the family regazding future uses of the mine, the
cost of fuel and other factors such as the demand for limestone in the marketplace make it
difficult to predict what the future holds for the property. We are requesfing that the
mine continue as an "inactive" but permitted entity during the coming year.
Res ectfully submitted,
~/~-^---
an Collins
Cell: 480-206-2037
Email: dan.collins@asu.edu
