Colorado 81 152 <br />Subject: July 1997 Water Sampling Results <br />Dear Mr. vigil: <br />Enclosed are the results of water analyses from the San Luis City Well No. 1. the water <br />samples were analyzed for cyanide, total metals, and fluoride as outlined in paragraph <br />26 of Battle Mountain's Water Decree, Case No. 89CW32. The concentrations of all <br />constituents are below fhe Colorado Drinking Water Standards. <br />The three pairs of lysimeters located west of the tailings disposal area were c hecked in <br />July. All lysimeters have been dry. <br />The next sampling event will take place in January 1998.
