(1) Mining continued in Stage 1 and Stage D `on the areas pre- viously stripped. In Stage 1 we Conti ed to removed minor amounts of gravel from the floor of the mined area as we do reclamation. Mining in Stage D continued on 1.97 ac. ± as shown on Map #2 (blue). The Plant Site in Stages W, Z and 2 is still in use (gray). In addition, 5.01 of the 17.94 acres ± was stripped in Stage 2 last year was partially mined (blue). (2) Most of the reclamation is complete in Stage 1 at this time. We completed sloping on 2.48 ac. ± of the west side of the mined area this year (yellow). The final grading was complet- ed on 1.68 ac. ± in Stage Y as well (yellow). Overburden not needed for reclamation in Stage 2 was placed in the southeast corner of Stage 1 filling 12.00 ac. ± (tan) and creating slopes into the bottom of the excavation area. We are still dewatering Stage 1 until the last material is removed from the bottom of the lake, to be completed this year. These area was confined to the portion of Stage 1 that will be lake bottom when reclamation is complete so no reclamation is required in that area. All the revegetation area in Stages X, Y and 1 are resoiled ready for revegetation when the water returns to the lakes. We should note here that this was a severe draught year in the Grand Junction area so all vegetation has taken a beating therefore no revegetation efforts were made or required this year. Stages A and B are resoiled and we have a stockpile of soil ready to be placed on Stage C when grading is complete. We have 1,000 YD3 of topsoil stored in Stage 1 (green) and 6,000 YD3 in Stage 2 (green). (3) We will continue to mine on the 17.94 acres ± (orange) stripped last year. Mining will continue on the 1.97 acres ± partially mined in Stage D (blue and may expand onto the 5.14 ac. ± remaining in that stage (red brown). If additional mining area is needed the areas disturbed in Stages 2. The minor amount or rock left in stage 1 will also be removed.
