Following are Bowie's responses to the DMG's comments and <br />concerns: <br />2003 Annual Hydrology Report (AHR) <br />A minor revision application will be submitted to the DMG in the near future <br />to make appropriate changes to the hydrologic monitoring plan. <br />Bowie's technician in charge of sampling the Deer Trail Ditch failed to <br />collect a water sample for the special monitoring event in August 2003 <br />which requires analysis of List 2. This oversight will be corrected in 2004. <br />The laboratory was not able to determine the chlorine concentration in the <br />water samples because chlorine has a sample hold time of only two hours. <br />4. The subject wells, DD-NM4x98-27, 28 and 29 were located underground at <br />the end of the north mains in the D-Seam. The individuals who were in <br />charge of obtaining the water samples were not equipped to obtain the <br />field parameters. The three wells have subsequently been abandoned <br />since that area of the mine has been sealed. <br />Drill hole 58a has been abandoned because it was undermined. Bowie <br />currently has no plans to rehabilitate DH-16 and DH-25. Both of these <br />
