Box 1430 <br />Palisade, Colorado 81526 <br />RE: Reactivation of Roadside and Cameo Mines (File C-81-041) <br />Dear Mr. Reschke: <br />Thank you for your notification that the Roadside and Cameo Mines will emerge <br />from temporary cessation on May 1, 1989. As you are aware, the Division will <br />commence monthly inspections in May 1989. As of May 1, 1989 Powderhorn Coal <br />Company will be required to institute all hydrologic monitoring as approved in <br />the permit. Any temporary reduction in monitoring approved due to the <br />temporary cessation of the mines will expire April 30, 1989. <br />Should you wish to modify the hydrologic monitoring program, a technical <br />revision will need to be submitted to the Division. <br />If you have any questions please feel free to contact Tom Gillis or me. <br />Sincerely, <br />/~ <br />Michael S.
